Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, deputies responded to Ulta Beauty on Solomons Island Road North in Prince Frederick, when witnesses advised the agency that a theft had just taken place.
According to investigators, two men and a woman walked into the store and placed $10,000 worth of colognes and perfumes into bags before fleeing to a waiting Mercury Montego that sped away north on Route 4.
The suspect vehicle was located by a responding deputy who was able to track the driver as the group was making a left turn onto Route 2, and they were stopped in the area of Pushaw Station Road in Sunderland.
During the stop, officials said that there were several bags of perfumes and colognes in plain view that had a total value of approximately $7,694 dollars.
Those arrested and charged:
- Yeiner Jose Rodriguez Barcelo, 27 of the Bronx;
- Yoncar Alberto Rainoso, 21 of Manhattan;
- Estefani Andrea Urbano-Zapata: 21 of no fixed address;
- Raimil Marquez Jimenez, 25 of Washington DC;

They were taken into custody and charged with theft of between $1,500 and $25,000. Further investigation also found that Rodriguez Barcelo was also wanted on an open warrant rom Pennsylvania for felony retail theft related to similar incidents at Ulta stores.
"Sheriff Cox would like to personally thank the witnesses on scene that went above and beyond to promptly call 911 and provide details of the suspects and suspect’s vehicle," a spokesperson for the agency said. "Your efforts are greatly appreciated."
